In the fourth special stage the Jumbo Rally GINAF also had to deal with techical problems, which kept mechanic Megens very busy. First there was a loose turbo charger, then the team had to stop a few times for repairs to the suspension.
The sixth stage is 598 km long, with a special stage of 418 km. The terrain will be alternating and especially in the first part the scenery will be spectacular. Halfway through the terrain will get more suited for higher speeds and the full power of the vehicles can be put to use. The final part of the stage will see more sand, the Atacama desert at its best.
According to the organisers the final few kilometers will be the ones to remember for the competitors. Looking towards the waves of the Pacific they will drive to the finish in Iquique.
